W. Eric Pitts was raised in Pensacola, Florida. Mr. Pitts attended Auburn University where he received both his undergraduate and graduate degrees in Agricultural (Biosystems) Engineering. At Auburn, Mr. Pitts was a member of Gamma Sigma Delta, the honor society of the College of Agriculture and Alpha Epsilon, the national honorary for the Agricultural Engineering discipline. Mr. Pitts received his J.D., cum laude, from the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University where he was an associate editor and published member of the American Journal of Trial Advocacy and a member of Curia Honoris. Mr. Pitts is licensed in all state and federal courts in Alabama as well as the United States Courts of Appeals for the 11 Circuit and the Federal Circuit. Mr. Pitts is also licensed to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office as a Patent Attorney.
